CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

PILATES / TUNE UP & STRETCH + CORE

The Pilates / Tune Up class is a perfect blend of Pilates and Movement patterns designed to identify any potential weakness and work on those.

MELT / STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, RELAX

In this class props such as balls and rollers are used to release pain, tension, stress or pressure in the back, hip, shoulder, neck and legs. By the end of class students say they feel more energy and relaxed at the same time.

TORSO / CORE STRENGTH

Props are used to help put the body in the right position so the muscles automatically work correctly to create movements that hydrate, strengthen, lengthen and improve the connective tissue, the nervous system, the muscles, and the bones. No more “sucking it in”, “pulling it under”, or “holding your breath”!

YOGA BodyART – YOGA FOR ALL AGES

Yoga inspired exercises based on yoga, physical therapy and martial arts. Some of the classes do have some cardio sections. The movement patterns are synchronized with the breathing techniques creating smooth transitions and overall freedom of the joints. We have taken out or modified the traditional yoga movements that may cause injury to the neck or spine or wrists.

FUNCTIONAL FLEXIBILITY

Most people are stiff and keep stretching to no avail. For the first time students can learn with the use of props to improve flexibility, range of motion, balance, and ease of moving. This amazing technique gives the body the ability to sit longer without pain or stiffness while at work, in a car, on a plane, etc.

RESTORE MUSCLE BALANCE

Localized injuries can produce strain on the entire body and lead to bio-mechanical imbalances. These faulty movement patterns are caused by the body’s tendency to overcompensate for the strain caused by the injury. The result is chronic aches, pains and instabilities. Our personalized program is designed to isolate and re-educate your movement patterns and posture.
